Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative and 7.5T Relief Driver for our client, a UK leading supplier of janitorial, cleaning, and hygiene products.

Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives and 7.5T Relief Drivers in Castleford.

The rate of pay is £28,953 per annum.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, with hours from 7:30am to 5pm.

Your Role at Work

This varied role involves approximately 80% warehouse work, including placing goods into storage, picking stock, consolidating orders, and assisting in loading vehicles. The remaining time involves driving 7.5T vehicles to deliver to customers, providing first-class customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Discharge duties safely, complying with relevant legislation and Bunzl EHS policies.
• Use all equipment safely and appropriately.
• Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse and yard, promptly clear spillages, and minimize waste.
• Accurately receive goods and check them into the warehouse.
• Store goods correctly, ensuring safe handling and storage.
• Assist in loading vehicles, working with drivers to ensure legal compliance.
• Drive 7.5T vehicles when needed, delivering to customers and ensuring excellent customer service.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Possesses a full clean driving license, preferably with C1.
• Has warehousing experience (desirable).
• Holds an FLT license.
• Is enthusiastic, driven, and able to follow instructions and work well within a team.
