With over 45 years’ experience in insulation conversion, Mayplas are a market-leading manufacturer of thermal, acoustic and fire stopping products for the construction, HVAC, appliance manufacturing and DIY industries.
Servicing the UK and Ireland from its substantial manufacturing base in the North West of England, Mayplas products are available through a national network of insulation distributors.
We are looking to recruit two Warehouse Operatives who will ensure the receiving, storage, picking and loading of stock inside the warehouse is efficient, accurate and managed in a timely way.
What does the role involve?
As Warehouse Operative, you will receive goods inwards, unload and store in the correct location within the warehouse environment, sign for deliveries and receipt of stock and report breakages and maintain the warehouse and stock in a clean and tidy condition.
You will also serve customers, building relationships via collection and returns point.
The successful candidate will require:
Good data accuracy
Numerate & Basic IT Skills
Flexible, adaptable and receptive to new ideas
Can-do approach to work
Good communication and team working skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Polite and customer-oriented attitude
Previous Yard or Warehouse experience and product knowledge is advantageous
Forklift Licence (Preferred but not essential)
