Job summary

Lidl's Leeds distribution centre is recruiting for Morning Shift Operatives and Goods Issue - Operational Picking roles. The site offers a 35-hour contract, permanent status, and benefits, with a new regional distribution centre opening in Leeds in Spring 2027 and extensive pre-opening training.

You will work across ambient picking, with additional training across regional sites and at Lidl's Luton RDC to learn the Warehouse Management System (EWM).

Qualifications

• Motivated to pick stock quickly and efficiently.
• Strong commitment to health and safety protocols.
• Willing to flex to pick in other areas (chiller, fresh produce, freezer).
• Ability to multitask and follow detailed picking instructions.
• Attention to detail to report damaged items and ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Follow headset instructions to pick products quickly.
• Pack ambient products and other areas as needed, with premium pay for cold temperatures.
• Ensure deliveries are stacked and secure for transit-to-store.
