Job summary

Gap Personnel Limited is recruiting for Warehouse Operatives in Swindon, SN25 for the afternoon shift. The role involves receiving, unloading, picking and packing products, despatch, and data entry using a PC. Heavy lifting is required, and good English skills are essential.

Experience in warehousing is advantageous, with a fixed 2pm–10pm shift (Monday to Friday). This is a temporary ongoing contract with potential ongoing opportunities after peak periods.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Title:Warehouse Operative – Afternoon shift only

Location:Swindon, SN25

Pay Rate:£12.71p/h

Shifts: Monday to Friday , 2pm – 10pm

Contract:Temporary ongoing

Gap personnel are currently recruiting for the role of Warehouse Operatives in Swindon, SN25. The global garden furniture manufacturer is just coming into peak, and us working in partnership are recruiting for additional 9 warehouse operatives. Ideal candidate must have good English written and spoken, and warehouse experience would be an advantage. Must be also PC literate as lots of packing / goods in activities are involved in working on PC.

For those who demonstrate good attendance, performance and great work approach, there will be on going position available after peak time.

Job Duties:

• Receive, unload and pick products
• Picking and packing stock , will involve heavy lifting
• Operating scanner for picking, stock put away and stock replenishment, so all data is automatically updated in the main system
• Despatch
• Ability to work to tight deadlines to meet all SLA
• Manual handling

Ideal candidate will have:

• Enthusiastic work ethic with a willingness to go for an extra mile
• Previous warehouse experience working in both goods in and goods out area is an advantage
• Ability to follow & fully understand instructions and be able to clearly explain requirements to others.
• Must be computer literate
• Good verbal & written communication skills
• Good attention to detail.

Working hours :

• Fixed afternoon shift 2pm – 10pm
