Job summary

GXO Logistics, in Sherburn in Elmet, is hiring Warehouse Operatives for a full-time, permanent role on a 4 on 4 off shift from 06:00 to 18:00. No prior experience is required as full training is provided.

This site supports recycling and reuse for a major supermarket retailer, and offers 22 days of holiday, 24/7 online GP service, life assurance, an employee assistance programme, and access to GXO University for ongoing training.

Qualifications

• A can-do attitude with a willingness to learn something new (training provided).
• No relatable experience required – all training will be provided.
• Willing to work in an environment with lots of repetitive work.

Responsibilities

• Load empty trays and buckets onto the wash machine ready for cleaning.
• Unload clean trays from the wash machine, stack away and wrap ready for collection.
• Ensure a hazard‑free zone by guaranteeing that all work areas are kept clean and tidy.
• Other warehouse duties depending on operations needs.
