Responsible for accurate receiving, loading, storing, and executing shipment orders. Understands their responsibilities in contingency or crisis situations. Must be able to work the shift pattern as required by the branch. Executes updates in the computer system using operational tools provided.
Counts all products, records weight, compares to manifest, and checks shipments for damage, shortages, overages, and discrepancies. Reports issues on appropriate forms. If qualified, unloads inbound shipments safely and moves products to designated storage locations.
Maximizes space utilization. Safely stores items onto racks or locations using company systems and scripts.
Ensures correct handling of products, transports orders to shipping locations using material handling equipment, and reviews markings and labels for accuracy.
Verifies quantities, labels, and addresses against orders. Signs documents for record-keeping and uses system scripts to move products into outbound delivery vehicles.
Maintains equipment and keeps warehouse areas clean and organized. Operates equipment safely and complies with OSHA standards.
Maintains accurate records, assists with inventories and cycle counts, and may perform inventory adjustments.
Previous warehouse experience is essential. ULD building experience is required. Good communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to multitask, take ownership, work under pressure.
