Job summary

Dale Farm is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join the Ash Manor team in Wrexham. This permanent, full-time role offers a stable day-to-day pattern with a rotating shift schedule and no weekend work, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

You will manage receipt, storage, and despatch of goods, operate forklifts safely, and help maintain quality and safety standards across the site. Join a leading UK dairy business that values teamwork, ambition, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Receive and despatch goods accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain warehouse records using the WMS system.
• Ensure stock is rotated and despatched in line with procedures.
• Assemble and check customer orders.
• Move materials and finished products safely around the site using forklift equipment.
• Operate automated wrapping machinery.
• Communicate with Production, Packing, QA, and Logistics teams.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the warehouse and yard.
• Follow health, safety, quality, and company procedures.

Warehouse Operative - Ash Manor

Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative looking for a stable, permanent role with excellent work-life balance?

Join Dale Farm's team at Ash Manor, Wrexham, where you'll enjoy a rotating Monday to Friday shift pattern with no weekend working, giving you more time to spend with family, friends, and personal commitments.

Shift Pattern:

• Week 1: 6:00am - 2:00pm
• Week 2: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
• Monday to Friday only

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of products throughout our site. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will help manage the receipt, storage, and despatch of finished goods while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and despatch goods accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate warehouse records using the WMS system.
• Ensure stock is rotated and despatched in line with company procedures.
• Assemble and check customer orders.
• Move materials and finished products safely around the site using forklift equipment.
• Operate automated wrapping machinery.
• Communicate effectively with Production, Packing, QA, and Logistics teams.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the warehouse and yard.
• Follow all health, safety, quality, and company procedures.

What You'll Need

• Valid UK Counterbalance or Reach Forklift Licence.
• At least 6 months' experience working within a warehouse or stores environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Good understanding of safe working practices within a warehouse environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work on your own initiative.
• Good organisational skills.
• Experience within a food manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
