Job summary

Ontic in Bolton is recruiting a Warehouse Operative on a 6-month fixed term contract to support the Stores function. You will issue materials, kit work orders, and maintain accurate ERP stock records while adhering to HSE and quality standards.

You will also pick and issue stock, maintain stock rotation, and provide general support to the Stores Manager and team as required, working in a highly regulated environment that values accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade C (or equivalent) minimum.
  • Enthusiastic team player with a proactive approach.
  • Experience in stores or stock control is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Issue materials in line with procedures to meet production needs.
  • Kitting of work orders to shop floor and maintain ERP stock records.
  • Regular stock control and stock location procedures.
  • Pick and issue stock according to pick lists and rotate stock.
  • Provide general support to Stores Manager and Stores team.

We're committed to excellence, driving us to continuously improve and adapt, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of our industry.The Role:As a member of the Stores Team, you will report to our Stores Line Manager as part of our dedicated team you will be involved in running of the Stores function, and ensuring correct procedures are carried out in the storage and issue of materials.As part of this varied role you will Issue materials in line with agreed procedure in order to meet production and customer requirements. Kitting of work orders to Shop Floor and be maintaining accurate stock records on the ERP system by carrying out regular stock control as required.HSE and Quality regulations are adhered to at all times. Pick and issue stock according to pick lists and maintain stock rotation whilst following stock location procedures.Essentially you will also be provide general support to the Stores Manager and Stores team undertaking a variety of tasks as allocated.
