Job summary

Gap Personnel is recruiting for experienced Warehouse Operatives in Warrington (WA5) for a well-known food manufacturing client. The role is ongoing with a possibility of permanent status for suitable candidates.

The site requires picking/packing, scanning, manual handling, and a strong team focus across varied shifts. Categories include mornings, afternoons, nights (4 on 4 off) and 13-hour weekend shifts, with overtime often available.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a food manufacturing setting.
• Able to work in cold environments.
• Experience using handheld scanners.
• Capable of manual handling and lifting.
• Flexible with shift patterns and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing produce.
• Handheld scanning items to put in trays.
• Dual role, manual handling.
• Decanting, putting frozen produce into trays and onto the lines.
• Wrapping pallets.
• Keeping area tidy and clean.
• Ensuring all products are picked and packed to the highest standard.

Gap Personnel who are operating as an employment business are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for experienced Warehouse Operatives for a well-known food manufacturing client based in Warrington, WA5 area.

The position is ongoing with a possibility of going into a permanent contract for suitable candidates.

Shifts available:

• Mornings (4on 4 off), 6am-4pm

• 4on 4 off 7-7s
• Friday, Saturday, Sunday 13-hour shifts
• Overtime available

Duties

• Picking and packing produce
• Handheld scanning items to put in trays
• Dual role, manual handling
• Decanting, putting frozen produce into trays and onto the lines
• Wrapping pallets
• Keeping area tidy, brushing up
• Ensuring all products are picked and packed to highest standard

Pay rates

• £13.77 per hour on AM shift
• £15.15 per hour on PM shift

• Dress code: plain, dark and smart
• No jewellery, false nails, false lashes are allowed on shopfloor
