Job summary

Fowler Welch is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our night shift team in the UK. You will load/unload, complete documentation, and ensure goods move safely and efficiently in line with company policies.

Shifts are Tuesday–Saturday, 18:00–04:00, in a chilled environment. You will be expected to meet productivity targets with accuracy and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload product in line with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure correct documentation for inbound and dispatch loads is completed.
• Report trailer or MHE faults and place VOR vehicles as required.
• Remain vigilant to ensure goods are picked and assembled accurately per instructions.
• Ensure dispatched loads are secured before leaving loading bay.
• Meet productivity targets while maintaining standards.
• Follow Health & Safety policy, SSOWs and HACCP regulations, and challenge non-compliance.
• Notify Stock Controller of customer returns and ensure they are recorded.

Job Description

• To ensure you load/unload product strictly in line with the Company's policies and procedures.
• To ensure the correct documentation is completed for all inbound and dispatch loads.
• Reporting any trailer or MHE faults in line with Company procedures and ensuring VOR vehicles are placed in the designated areas.
• To remain vigilant in ensuring goods are picked and assembled accurately as per instructions.
• To ensure dispatched loads are properly secured prior to leaving the loading bay.
• To reach and maintain the standards required to meet the Company's productivity targets.
• Ensure all practices and procedures are safely carried out in line with the Company’s Health & Safety policy, SSOWs and HACCP regulations, where appropriate, and to challenge colleagues who fail to adhere to any such rules or regulations.
• Ensure customer returns are received, recorded and notified to the appropriate Stock Controller
