Job summary

Fowler Welch is seeking a Warehouse Operative for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, 10:00pm to 10:00am. The role focuses on loading, unloading and ensuring accurate documentation for inbound and dispatch loads.

You will work in a chilled environment, meet daily deadlines and contribute to safety policies, HACCP compliance and productivity targets while supporting a high standard of customer service.

Qualifications

• Ability to work within a chilled/cold environment.
• Experience in deadlines and quality-critical work.
• Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning.
• Conscientious and reliable nature.
• Positive 'can do' attitude.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload products per Company policies.
• Complete documentation for inbound and dispatch loads.
• Report trailer or MHE faults per procedures and place VOR vehicles accordingly.
• Maintain accuracy in picking and assembling goods as instructed.
• Ensure loads are secured before leaving loading bay.
• Meet productivity targets and maintain standards.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policy, SSOWs and HACCP regulations.
• Receive, record and notify Stock Controller of customer returns.

Shift Pattern – Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights 10:00pm-10:00am

Salary – from £14.46 to £17.35

• To ensure you load/unload product strictly in line with the Company's policies and procedures.
• To ensure the correct documentation is completed for all inbound and dispatch loads.
• Reporting any trailer or MHE faults in line with Company procedures and ensuring VOR vehicles are placed in the designated areas.
• To remain vigilant in ensuring goods are picked and assembled accurately as per instructions.
• To ensure dispatched loads are properly secured prior to leaving the loading bay.
• To reach and maintain the standards required to meet the Company's productivity targets.
• Ensure all practices and procedures are safely carried out in line with the Company’s Health & Safety policy, SSOWs and HACCP regulations, where appropriate, and to challenge colleagues who fail to adhere to any such rules or regulations.
• Ensure customer returns are received, recorded and notified to the appropriate Stock Controller
