Job summary

FSW Ltd is seeking a motivated Warehouse Operative for our central distribution centre in Cannock. You will pick and pack orders, ensure correct despatch, and maintain stock accuracy while following all H&S policies.

• Keen eye for detail and a can-do approach.
• Good standard of education including maths and English.
• Previous picking/packing experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Picking orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Packing orders ready for collection by carriers.
• Ensuring gas cylinders are booked out to sales orders correctly before despatch.
• Creating despatch paperwork and labels.
• Maintaining stock in pick slots for good housekeeping.
• Quality checking orders before despatch.
• Checking stock as required.
• Loading despatches to vehicles.
• Cross-functional working with other departments.
• Reporting anomalies promptly.
• Following all H&S policies and guidance.
• Maintaining warehouse housekeeping standards.

What You'll Need

You'll have a good standard of education including maths and English, with a keen eye for detail and a 'can do' approach. You can work well within our established team and use your own initiative when needed.

Previous picking/packing experience preferred but not essential. Training will be provided. Apprenticeship opportunity also available.
