Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a warehouse Operative/Forklift driver.
• Experience operating VNA forklifts & counterbalance forklifts is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Loading & unloading trailers and putting goods away into racks.
• Picking/packing orders ready for shipment.
• Maintaining stock inventory including regular stock takes.

Skills

Job description

We are seeking an experienced warehouse operative to join Grant UK’s warehouse team in Swindon who are responsible for the distribution of reliable heating products across the UK. Working 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30-4.00 on Fridays – the role will encompass the following.

Responsibilities

• Loading & unloading trailers / putting goods away into the racks
• Picking/packing orders ready for shipment
• Some manual lifting of non-palletised items
• Organise and maintain stock inventory including regular stock takes
• Ensure the accuracy of shipments
• Other general warehouse duties
  
  

Skills and Knowledge

• Proven work experience as a warehouse Operative/Forklift driver
• Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
• Knowledge of barcoding systems an advantage
• A reliable, hardworking, and committed mindset is essential in this team environment
• Experience operating VNA forklifts & counterbalance forklifts is an advantage
