Job summary

Kingdom Services Group is recruiting a Warehouse Operative for its busy reuse and distribution hub in Trafford Park, Manchester. You will load/unload vehicles, move stock and support operations across local shop locations, working as part of a team.

The role is based at Nash Road, Trafford Park, with occasional travel to nearby sites. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are preferred, and shifts follow a 4 on / 4 off pattern from 7:00am to 6:00pm.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
• Experience in manual handling or warehouse work is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Heavy lifting and manual handling of goods.
• Moving, sorting and organising stock.
• Preparing goods for transportation and delivery.
• Supporting loading/unloading of deliveries and collections.
• Driving to and between shop locations as required.
• Assisting with movement of stock between hub and retail locations.
• Maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
• Following manual handling and health & safety procedures.
• Working efficiently as part of a team to meet daily requirements.

Warehouse Operative - 4 On 4 Off

Location: Trafford Park, Manchester

Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off

Hours: 7:00am - 6:00pm

Pay Rate: £12.81 -£13.45 per hour

Bank Holidays: Enhanced rate of pay

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy reuse and distribution hub based in Trafford Park.

This is a hands‑on, physically active role involving the movement, loading and unloading of goods, as well as supporting operations across several local shop locations.

The role would suit someone who enjoys practical work, is physically capable and reliable, and is comfortable working as part of a busy team.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Heavy lifting and manual handling of goods
• Moving, sorting and organising stock
• Preparing goods for transportation and delivery
• Supporting the loading and unloading of deliveries and collections
• Driving to and covering different shop locations when required
• Assisting with the movement of stock between the hub and retail locations
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
• Following manual handling and health & safety procedures
• Working efficiently as part of a team to meet daily operational requirements

Locations

Your main base will be Nash Road, Trafford Park, with occasional travel required to other locations, including:

• Boysnope Wharf, Eccles
• Woodhouse Lane, Altrincham
• Arkwright Street, Oldham

About You

We are looking for candidates who:

• Are physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Have experience of manual handling or warehouse work (desirable)
• Are reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Have a positive attitude and good work ethic
• Can work effectively as part of a team
• Are flexible and happy to work across different locations
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Have access to their own vehicle, as travel between locations will be required
• Are comfortable working a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern

Working Hours & Pay

£12.71 per hour

7:00am - 6:00pm, 4 days on / 4 days off

There is a 30-minute unpaid break during each shift.

Enhanced pay is available for bank holidays.
