Job summary

GSF Car Parts Limited is seeking a Warehouse Controller to lead a team and ensure efficient stock flow to meet sales budgets. You will manage Goods In/Out, Returns and Stock Control, and coordinate with drivers to deliver excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, planning, and a calm, customer-focused approach in a fast-paced environment. 41 hours/week, Mon-Fri with alternate Saturdays.

• Accurate picking and loading for timely deliveries.
• Check stock quantities against systems and rectify discrepancies.
• Support branch manager with planning, holidays, and driver coordination.

About The Role

As a Warehouse Controller as GSF Car Parts, you are responsible for motivating and leading a team of Warehouse Operatives. As the Warehouse Controller, you will ensure stock can deliver the sales budgets and the operational functions of the Warehouse run smoothly.

Main Duties include:

• Manage the organisation and performance to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Goods In, Goods Out, Returns and Stock Control departments
• Pick and load van / carrier accurately for timely customer delivery when required
• Check stock quantities are correct against computer
• Use personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles
• Ensure the operational functions of the Warehouse run smoothly and assist the branch manager with; holidays/sickness cover, preparing weekly plans, developing the warehouse team and work with Drivers to ensure the best delivery service for customers.
• Create a positive and supportive environment where employees are valued and can reach their true potential

Working hours: 41 (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working

About You

As the Warehouse Controller, you will have a great track record of managing a warehouse, ideally gained within a fast-paced environment such as FMCG.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Previous experience of use of MAM is desirable but not essential
