Job summary

GSF Car Parts is seeking Warehouse Operatives to join our distribution team in the Greater Manchester area. You will ensure orders are picked and packed accurately and efficiently for delivery to customers.

The role requires a proven track record in a fast-paced warehouse environment, the ability to work under pressure, and a strong focus on customer service and deadlines. Basic numeracy, literacy and good communication are essential, with knowledge of car parts desirable.

• Understanding the necessity of customer service and meeting deadlines.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Checking and putting away supplier delivered parts.
• Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner.
• Checking customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge.
• Checking stock quantities are correct against computer while ensuring stock is stored in allocated bin locations.

About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play an important role within the team by always ensuring orders are picked and packed, and ready to be delivered to our customers. They are champions of customer service delivery through efficient coordination of warehouse stock and understand the importance of delivery timeframes.

Main Duties Include

• Checking and putting away supplier delivered parts
• Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner;
• Checking customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge;
• Checking stock quantities are correct against computer whilst also checking stock is stored in the allocated bin locations.

Working Hours

## (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working

What you'll need to succeed:

• A great track record working in a fast paced warehouse, or similar environment
• Ability to work well under pressure

• Understand the necessity of customer service & working to deadlines
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
