Job summary

Todd Hayes Ltd in Shipdham, Norfolk, is seeking a Warehouse Operative (Days) for a full-time temporary role with potential to go permanent after 3 months. Hours are Monday to Friday 06:00–16:30, with occasional weekend work during busy periods.

You will handle picking, packing, stock checks, and loading/unloading with a focus on safety and accuracy. The role requires a forklift licence (counterbalance preferred) and a full UK driving licence with vehicle access.

Warehouse Operative - Days

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Warehouse Operative working for a well-established and prestigious company based in Shipdham, Norfolk.This is a full-time temporary position, with the potential to become a permanent position after 3 months.

Working Hours

This is a full-time position. The working hours are Monday to Friday 06:00 to 16:30 (weekend working expected during busy periods)With the opportunity to earn extra money with added skills bonuses, as you develop within the organisation.

Skills & Qualifications

• Must have a forklift truck licence (ideally counterbalance)
• Applicants must have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.

Key Duties

• Picking and re-palletising daily orders accurately, stock counts, to assist with maintaining stock levels and adhering to stock rotation procedures

• Manual heavy lifting.
• Carry out and record Daily Safety Inspections for operated mobile plant.
• Ensuring Finished Product is presented to the customer in a clean and tidy state.
• General housekeeping duties within the Warehouse Facilities
• Ensure damaged bags / rework are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Comply with and uphold all aspects of the Company’s health & Safety instructions, requirements and policies.
• Work always within the framework and requirements of the Company’s obligations to the Universal Feed Assurance Scheme (UFAS)
• Serve Customers and help with loading and unloading vehicles
• Provide support and cover for all team members
