Job summary

Glu Recruit LTD is seeking reliable Warehouse Operatives to join a busy Sheffield warehouse on a temporary basis. The role covers picking, packing and order consolidation to ensure accurate and efficient order processing.

Successful candidates should be physically fit, capable of reading English and comfortable using handheld scanners. You will work across multiple areas, maintain safety standards and meet productivity targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Able to commit to the full duration of the temporary assignment.
• Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet throughout the working day.
• Able to read and understand English to accurately follow orders and instructions.
• Comfortable using handheld scanning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately in line with productivity expectations.
• Pack, label and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Consolidate picked items to ensure orders are complete and accurate.
• Replenish stock within picking locations as required.
• Check products, quantities and order information for accuracy.
• Identify and report missing, incorrect or damaged stock.
• Use handheld scanners and warehouse systems as required.
• Support stock counts and inventory checks when needed.
• Work flexibly across picking, packing, consolidation and replenishment areas.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Work towards agreed productivity targets while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Follow all warehouse procedures and Health & Safety requirements.
