Job summary

Proman is seeking a Warehouse Operative / Online order picker for a long-term role in Shipley (BD17). Working hours are Monday to Friday, with shifts from 9:30-17:30 or 10:00-18:00.

The role pays £12.71 per hour and involves goods in receiving, stock replenishment, stock checks and counts, and data entry using IT tools. Responsibilities include capturing product dimensions and weights, handling returns, and managing stock alongside best before dates.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse operations including goods in and stock management.
• Ability to perform stock checks and counts accurately.
• Familiarity with IT tools and basic Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Goods in – receive stock from distribution centre and suppliers; break down, count, putaway and receipt.
• Stock replenishment and allocation to pick locations.
• Conduct stock checks and counts; capture product dimensions and weights.

Warehouse Operative / Online order picker required for our client in Shipley (BD17)

Hours / rate of pay -

Monday to Friday 9:30 - 5:30pm or 10:00 - 6:00pm

£12.71 per hour

Long term role for the suitable candidate.

Main duties include

• Goods in - Receiving of stock from both our distribution centre and our external suppliers (Breaking down, counting, putaway and receipt etc)
• Stock replenishment (into pick locations)
• Stock checks and stock counting
• Capturing product dimensions and weights
• Returns processing
• Best Before (dates) stock management
• Stock relocation / space planning etc
• Stock queries etc
• House keeping
• Flexibility to work in other area's if required

Other information -

• Workers are required to use both manual and electric pallet truck (training will be provide prior to use)
• IT skills are needed, as the client operates on 2 warehouse platforms.
• Use of other systems are required (Excel, word, emails, and Microsoft teams)
