Position: Warehouse Operatives

We are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our team at Fowler Welch Hilsea. This is a full-time, permanent position with rates of pay up to £17.16 per hour.

Shifts Available:

Initial shift times for the first 13 weeks will be 17:00-05:00, changing to 19:00-07:00 thereafter. The available shifts are:

• Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
• Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• Wednesday to Saturday

Rates:

• Basic hourly rate: £13.20
• Overtime rate: £17.16

Job Responsibilities:

• Using a ride-on PPT to load and unload trailers, consolidating pallets, and reloading onto trailers.
• Completing correct documentation for inbound and dispatch loads.
• Reporting trailer or MHE faults and ensuring VOR vehicles are properly managed.
• Ensuring goods are picked and assembled accurately.
• Securing loads before departure.
• Meeting productivity standards.
• Adhering to health and safety policies, SSOWs, and HACCP regulations.
• Maintaining hygiene and housekeeping standards.
• Handling customer returns appropriately.
• Supporting Stock Controllers, Team Leaders, and Supervisors as needed.
• Collaborating courteously with colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating PPT and/or MHE is essential.
• Ability to work in a chilled/cold environment.
• Experience working under deadlines with a focus on quality.
• Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning.
• Reliable and conscientious.
• Positive attitude.
