Job summary

Culligan is recruiting a Warehouse Operative for our Peterborough site. You will be responsible for accurate picking and packing, stock control, and processing inbound and outbound goods using our ERP system.

You will use courier software for UK deliveries, operate manual handling equipment safely, conduct cycle counts, and assist with loading/unloading. A current forklift licence and prior warehouse experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience using an ERP system for stock and order processing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Proven accuracy and speed in warehouse tasks.
• Current counter balance and reach forklift licence.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack stock accurately across the warehouse using the ERP system.
• Input customer orders into courier software for UK onward delivery.
• Operate manual handling equipment safely to process requirements.
• Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy and investigate variances.
• Process inward inventory to ensure accurate onward movement to customers.
• Maintain stock control and comply with security procedures at all times.
• Load/unload couriers and containers accurately and safely.
• Carry out other duties as requested by the manager.

The Role

We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team in Peterborough. Reporting to the Warehouse Team Lead, this role is responsible for the timely processing of inventory both receipting from our suppliers and despatching to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurately picking and packing stock across the warehouse using the ERP system
• Utilise courier software to accurately input customer orders onto the system for onward delivery across the UK
• Operate manual handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner to process internal and external customer requirements.
• Carry out regular cycle counts across the warehouses to maintain stock accuracy and complete investigations where required
• Responsible for the inward processing of all inventory into the warehouse, ensuring accuracy is achieved to allow for onward movement to our customers.
• Maintain a high level of stock control and ensure security procedures are adhered to at all times
• Load/unload couriers and containers accurately and safely
• Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by manager.

Qualifications

• Competent using Microsoft Office, namely Word, Excel and Outlook
• Experience of working with an ERP system
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Capable of prioritising tasks
• Proven ability to work quickly and accurately, with an eye on suggesting improvements to processes and systems.
• Current counter balance and reach fork truck licence
• Experience working in a warehouse environment
