Job summary

Staffline is hiring a Warehouse Operative for a distribution centre in Worksop. The role operates on a 4 on 4 off rota with day shifts at £12.71 per hour and night shifts at £14.88 per hour.

Responsibilities include picking, packing and stock control, scanning in/out goods, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Applicants must be 18+ and capable of lifting up to 25kg, with adequate English skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken and written English is required.
• Be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg.
• Able to work 4 on 4 off shifts (days/nights).
• Experience in a warehouse environment is welcome but not essential.

Job description

A great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our clients distribution centre based in Worksop.

The hours of work are: 4 on 4 off

• - 6am to 6pm
• - 6pm to 6am

The rate of pay is:

• - Days £12.71 per hour
• - Nights £14.88 per hour

Your Time at Work

• Picking and packing (weight of stock up to 25kg)
• Scanning in/out stock
• Keeping the warehouse clean/tidy

Our Perfect Worker

• Have an excellent standard of spoken and written English
• MHE skills (preferable)
• Be physically fit and able to handle some lifting
• Be comfortable working at heights, as the role involves operating VNA trucks
• Have previous experience in a similar role - this is welcome but not essential
• Be reliable and able to work the required shift patterns
• Be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg.
• Applicants must have strong Maths and English skills.
• Applicants must be able to handle alcohol products. As a result, all applicants must be aged 18+ to be considered for this position.
