Job summary

Lidl GB is hiring a Warehouse Operative in the United Kingdom to help ensure our stores receive the right stock. You’ll pick products, check stock, and process orders to get our 2,000+ products to customers, taking pride in keeping shelves stocked.

We offer a 40-hour contract with a shift from 12:00 to 20:30, pay £13.80–£14.45 per hour, and 30–35 days holiday (pro rata). Benefits include a 10% in-store discount and a pension scheme, plus opportunities for progression.

Responsibilities

• Be a multitasker, listening to picking instructions and carrying them out swiftly.

• Ensure deliveries are stacked and secure for transport.
• Report any damaged items to the manager promptly.
• Independently work through orders to fulfil customer demand.

What you'll do

• Be a multitasker, carefully listening to picking instructions through your headset to carry them out swiftly
• Pack a variety of our products including meat, fruit, frozen and chilled items (with premium payments of £1.50/hour when working at temperatures as low as -18°C)
• Make sure your deliveries are perfectly stacked and secure
• Report any damaged items to your manager
• Be responsible for independently working through your orders
