Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Warehouse Operator-Intermediate to join our UK team in North Weston. The role focuses on receiving, storing, and dispatching materials, maintaining accurate stock records, and supporting production schedules with reliable supplies.

You will work to high safety standards, operate warehouse systems, and participate in cycle counts while ensuring efficient movement of kits and materials to meet manufacturing timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, stores, logistics or materials management environments.
• Proficiency with warehouse management, ERP, or MRP systems for inventory transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock movements and records.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
• Commitment to health, safety, quality and housekeeping standards.

• Safely loading and unloading materials following safety procedures.
• Receiving, inspecting and storing materials per inventory control and quality requirements.
• Processing inventory movements and maintaining stock records in warehouse systems.
• Picking, packing, labeling and preparing materials for dispatch.
• Conducting cycle counts and stock checks; supporting inventory reconciliation.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and material preservation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and comply with QHSE standards.
• Demonstrate experience in goods receipt, inventory control, and dispatch activities.

Partner with the best As a Warehouse Operative, you will support warehouse and inventory operations by ensuring materials are received, stored, controlled, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory integrity, supporting manufacturing activities, and ensuring compliance with Baker Hughes safety and quality standards. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for:

• Safely loading and unloading materials while adhering to company safety procedures.
• Receiving, inspecting, and storing materials in line with inventory control and quality requirements.
• Processing inventory movements and maintaining accurate stock records using warehouse systems.
• Picking, preparing, and delivering production kits to support manufacturing schedules.
• Picking, packing, labeling, and preparing materials and products for dispatch.
• Conducting cycle counts, stock checks, and supporting inventory reconciliation activities.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, material preservation, and workplace organization.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with QHSE standards and company procedures.
• Have previous experience within a warehouse, stores, logistics, or materials management environment.
• Hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift License.
• Demonstrate experience in goods receipt, inventory control, order picking, material storage, and dispatch activities.
• Be comfortable using warehouse management, ERP, or MRP systems to manage inventory transactions.
• Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing stock movements and inventory records.
• Be able to prioritize workload, manage multiple tasks, and work effectively to operational deadlines.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Be a proactive team player with a flexible approach and a continuous improvement mindset.
