Job summary

Nexus People are recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join our busy Newark distribution operation. You will pick and pack high value items, using a voice-picking headset and handheld scanner, and operate Manual Handling Equipment (LLOP) after full training.

Shifts include days, nights, and PM, with 12-hour shifts and regular pattern—4 days on, 4 off. Competitive pay of £13.26–£17.24 per hour, weekly pay every Friday, and immediate starts are available.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience preferred but not essential.
• Full training provided.
• Applicants must be UK residents; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing high value items for customer orders.
• Using voice-picking headset and handheld scanner.
• Operating Manual Handling Equipment (LLOP) after training.
• Manual handling may require two-person lifts.
• Keep work area clean, organized and safe.
• Support wider warehouse team with additional duties.

Working Hours

• Days – 06:15 – 18:15 (staggered start times every 15 minutes until 7am, 12h shifts) – 4 days on 4 days off
• Nights – 18:15 – 06:15 (staggered start times every 15 minutes until 7pm, 12h shifts) – 4 nights on 4 nights off
• PM 14:00 – 22:00 and 16:00 – 00:00 – Sunday to Thursday

Experience

Previous experience in a Warehouse environment would be preferred

About You

Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
