Warehouse Operative - Lomeshaye Industrial Estate, Nelson - £12.21 per hour

About the role

The purpose of this role is to replenish produce in your department, adhering to all relevant responsibilities including compliance with stock taking rota, food safety standards, and health & safety. You will also ensure that the department is set up for the night pick as a key part of this role.

What you will do:

Health and Safety / Food Safety:

• Ensure hygiene standards are maintained at all times to meet BRC accreditation and our own high GMP standards.
• Adhere to SOPs and safety training.
• Have knowledge of company and statutory health and safety, security, and emergency procedures.

Stock Management:

• Achieve 100% compliance in stock management, including rotation, date checking, and location accuracy.
• Set up the department for the night pick.
• Review products on the Missing List report aiming for zero products on the list.
• Organize excess products efficiently to maximize storage space for future deliveries.
• Attach accurate and clear air tickets to all stored pallets.
• Present shelves efficiently.
