Job Opportunity: Warehouse Operative (Afternoon Shift)

Location: Milton Keynes

Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM (30-minute break)

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Contract Type: Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and respected name in the metal and engineering industry, for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join their logistics team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who is looking for a stable role with long-term potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading goods from the company's own fleet
• Verifying and checking off batch numbers
• Picking and preparing materials for dispatch
• Communicating with drivers regarding return loads and delivery details
• Operating PPTs and pump trucks (valid license required)
• Forklift operation preferred (license desirable)

Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
• Valid license for PPT/pump truck use
• Forklift license is a plus
• Availability to work the 12-8pm shift
