Job description

We are seeking a warehouse operative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong attention to detail who can work well within a team environment.

Reporting to: Warehouse Team Leader

Hours: Typical shift patterns are Monday to Friday - 8am to 4.30pm

Purpose of Role: To efficiently handle, store and rotate stock working within a team environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilties:

• To ensure FLT’s are checked daily, recorded on relevant sheets and defects reported
• Work to standard operating procedures in line with company policy
• Deal with inbound vehicles following the correct company procedure
• Ensure safe handling, storage & repacking of all products in line with stock locations
• High level of care and accuracy with pick operations
• Load distribution vehicles in a safe, presentable manner and highlight all errors and damages prior to completion
• Maintain high standards of site house-keeping
• Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern to Team Leader immediately
• Assist with inventory counting when necessary
• Put improvement suggestions forward where appropriate
• Assist other team members as necessary
• Support Warehouse Team Leader with all day to day tasks
• To action any other elements to fulfil the operational needs of the business
• Any other reasonable duties as allocated by the Warehouse Team Leaders/Logistics Manager
