Warehouse Operative – Experienced in working in a warehouse or factory? Used an ERP/ CRM system and ideally hold a forklift licence? If so, we are advertising for full time Warehouse Operative to join a leading specialist in reproducing classic car interiors and trims in Leiston, Suffolk.

About the role:

In this Warehouse Operative role, you will be working in a busy moulding factory and warehouse as part of a team to support the production and logistical operations. Attention to detail is important to ensure items are stored, picked and shipped out to meet high standards of quality and deadlines. Working hours are 07:00 - 17:23, Monday to Thursday and flexible hours can be considered if required.

Other responsibilities include:

• Picking and packing items for shipping, ensuring boxed and secure for delivery.
• Stock management for the factory to ensure sufficient materials to meet orders.
• Ensuring goods received are unpacked, checked, logged and label accordingly and stored.
• Inventory management to ensure correct levels of and flow of materials to ensure no delays and minimise costs.
• Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, tidy and safe environment to work in.

About you:

You will ideally have prior experience as a Warehouse Operative, working in a factory or warehouse environment. Although experience with using ERP or CRM software would be prefer, you will at least be proficient in MS Office. What is essential is that you will have a keen eye for detail and quality assurance, you will be able to handle physical tasks and operate machinery as required. You will be proactive, reliable with good communication skills and willingness to work alone or as part of a team. A Forklift Licence would be advantageous, but training can be provided to the right candidate.
