Job description

Position: Warehouse Team Leader

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Location: HMP Wayland - Thetford (IP25 6RL)

Salary: £26,262.83

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, Days

Note: The role is based within a Prison. Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced Security Vetting Process.

Requirement: You must have 3 years of UK address history.

HMPPS provides prisoners with the means to order goods using their own funds. At DHL, we manage the picking, packing, and distribution of these orders. This role offers diverse daily tasks and plays a vital part in supporting prisoners' rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

1. Leading a group of prisoners in a warehouse environment while being hands-on with picking and packing tasks.
2. Reconciling stock levels within the warehouse operation (located onsite at the prison).
3. Managing the delivery of accurate and timely dispatch of orders to inmates.
4. Ensuring operational targets are met and exceeded.

• Ability to work in a prison warehouse environment.
• Understanding of warehouse processes (desirable).
• Good communication skills across all levels.
• Mandatory: 3 years of UK address history for Enhanced Security Clearance.
