Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Leeds to support daily order processing and distribution tasks. The role requires timely handling of sales and purchase orders, adherence to policy guidelines, and continuous learning of product and system knowledge.

The position involves rotating shifts (10:30 am - 6:30 pm) with a 37-hour work week and a starting pay of £13.45 per hour, increasing after 12 weeks. A flexible, safety-conscious approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in basic computer packages.
• Good standard of literacy & numeracy.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Bendi/Flexi license advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all sales orders are processed accurately and promptly.
• Ensure all Purchase Orders are processed promptly.
• Follow all policy guidelines as issued by management on the processing of orders.
• Develop appropriate product and systems knowledge to carry out daily workload.
• Involvement with individual and team projects.
• Perform additional duties as determined by the Distribution management team.
• Identify and report any health, safety and environmental issues within the workplace.

Assignment Type: Full-time, Long-term Temporary

Working Hours: 37 hours/week, rotating shifts (10:30 am - 18:30)

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour (After successful completion of 12 weeks, pay rate will change to £16.52)

Role Overview
