Job summary

Alliance Healthcare, part of Cencora, is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join the Goods In team. The role involves receiving stock, checking details, and moving items to correct warehouse locations. The shift is Monday to Friday, 12:00pm-8:00pm, with 37.5 hours per week.

You will operate a VNA forklift, ensure accurate documentation, and uphold safety and housekeeping standards. Prior warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Essential: Forklift Truck experience.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Strong awareness of customer service and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate a VNA Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Receive, check and process incoming stock deliveries.
• Verify product descriptions, pack sizes, quantities, expiry dates and product condition.
• Record stock information accurately and complete all relevant paperwork.
• Prioritise critical and out-of-stock items on receipt.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across warehouse and loading bay areas.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety and security procedures.
• Support the wider warehouse operation as required.

Warehouse Operative – Join Alliance Healthcare, part of Cencora, supporting one of Europe’s leading pharmaceutical wholesale distribution networks.

Location: LS11 0LR

Shift: Monday to Friday, 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Pay Rate: £13.53 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Warehouse Operative to join our Goods In team. You will play a vital role in ensuring all incoming stock is received accurately, checked thoroughly, and moved safely to the correct warehouse locations.
