Job summary

The Best Connection are looking to recruit a warehouse operative based in Castle Donington, delivering reliable stock control and order fulfilment duties within a busy distribution environment.

Working hours 08:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday, with temp-to-perm opportunity and the possibility of ongoing assignments. The role includes picking, packing, loading, unloading, and inventory checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations and stock control.
• Able to prepare orders and verify documents.
• Capable of loading/unloading pallets and maintaining stock accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory by recording location, quantity and control number.
• Prepare orders by pulling products listed on packing slips.
• Prepare pallets for dispatch and load products as required.
• Unload pallets and check lot numbers to maintain stock control.

Duration - Temporary to Permanent

Job Role for a Warehouse Operative:

• Maintain inventory by placing finished products in stock, recording location, quantity and control number or products. May also do stock counts as requested
• Prepare orders by pulling and verifying products listed on packing slip or other shipping documents.
• Preparing pallets and loading products as required for dispatch.
• Unloading pallets, checking lot numbers and maintaining general stock control.
