DFDS A/S in Grimsby is looking for a Picking Supervisor to lead a night team of 3–8 operatives. You'll ensure orders are picked accurately, on time, and documented before dispatch, while maintaining stock integrity in a chilled warehouse environment (0–4°C).
You’ll develop the team, monitor performance, plan labour, conduct onboarding and appraisals, and work closely with warehouse systems to improve accuracy and service levels within a multinational logistics setting.

Working a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern (18:00–06:00), you'll lead a team of between 3 and 8 warehouse operatives, ensuring customer orders are picked accurately, completed on time, and delivered in line with service level requirements. You'll play a key role in maintaining picking accuracy, developing team capability, and ensuring stock integrity across the operation.

You’ll ideally have previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or supervisory role, with knowledge of Oracle systems and chilled warehouse operations being highly advantageous. Forklift and Powered Pallet Truck licences are welcome but not essential.
You’ll be a logical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and confidence working with operational data, spreadsheets, and warehouse systems. Good numeracy, communication, and basic written English skills are essential, along with the ability to remain calm under pressure during peak trading periods.
