Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited seeks a Warehouse Operative in Barrow upon Humber to support loading, stock movement and housekeeping in a busy warehousing environment.

You will operate and monitor warehouse equipment, perform quality checks, and record data to ensure accurate production and stock control. A valid Counterbalance FLT licence is required and shifts run day and night.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT B1 (Counterbalance) licence.
• Previous experience in production, manufacturing or warehouse.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and flexibility with shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring warehouse equipment and processes.
• Carrying out routine quality checks and recording data.
• Loading raw materials into processing or storage equipment.
• Moving products and materials using a Counterbalance FLT.
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely.
• Supporting stock movement and housekeeping tasks.
• Maintaining health and safety and site procedures.
• Reporting machinery faults or production issues.

Warehouse Operative

Location : Barrow upon Humber

Pay Rate: £13.73ph

Shifts: Days and Nights 6am -6pm/6pm -6am

About The Role

• Operating and monitoring press room machinery
• Carrying out routine quality checks and recording production data
• Loading raw materials into processing equipment
• Moving products and materials using a Counterbalance FLT
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely
• Supporting warehouse operations, including stock movement and storage
• Ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained
• Following all health, safety, and site procedure
• Reporting any machinery faults or production issues

Requirements

• Valid FLT B1 (Counterbalance) Licence
• Previous experience within a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Flexible approach to shift work
