Job summary

Sammons Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy distribution team in Bordon. The role offers AM or PM shifts within a modern warehouse with good facilities and the potential for a temporary-to-permanent position for the right candidates.

Applicants should be reliable, hardworking and comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with good English, basic computer literacy and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
• Own transport is essential due to the location and shift times.
• Good level of written and spoken English.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Loading, unloading and moving stock safely throughout the warehouse.
• Labelling products and maintaining accurate stock locations.
• Using warehouse computer systems to process orders and update stock.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure accuracy.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Supporting the wider warehouse operation as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Loading, unloading and moving stock safely throughout the warehouse.
• Labelling products and maintaining accurate stock locations.
• Using warehouse computer systems to process orders and update stock.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure accuracy.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Supporting the wider warehouse operation as required.

Working Hours

• AM Shift (6:00am - 2:00pm)
• PM Shift (2:00pm - 10:00pm)
• 37.5-hour working week
• 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Overtime paid at time and a half after 37.5 hours
