St Austell Brewery is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team in the UK. You’ll handle goods in, put away stock, pick orders and prepare dispatches with a focus on accuracy and on-time delivery.

This busy hands-on role involves MHE use, stock movements, and maintaining a safe, clean depot. A proactive approach, good numeracy and teamwork are essential; forklift experience is desirable but training will be provided.

Responsabilidades

• Safely carrying out stock movements (goods in, put away, SKU movements, replenishments, order building)
• Using forklifts and ride-on pallet trucks where required
• Picking customer orders accurately and preparing them for dispatch
• Supporting timely and accurate dispatch of orders
• Carrying out warehouse administration to required standards
• Carrying out pre-use checks on MHE and reporting defects
• Supporting stock checks and stock taking
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and organisation in the warehouse
• Following health and safety procedures and reporting incidents
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure efficient warehouse operation

The Role

We’re looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team and play a key role in ensuring our customers receive a first-class service through accurate, efficient and on-time deliveries.
This is an active role involving a wide range of general warehouse duties, including goods in, put away, stock movements, order picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch. You’ll also support stock taking and help maintain a clean, organised and safe depot.
This is a busy, hands‑on environment involving regular manual handling of heavy goods. Health and safety, accuracy, customer service and brilliant teamwork are all key priorities for the role.

What you'll be doing

• Safely carrying out stock movements, including goods in, put away, SKU movements, replenishments and order building.
• Using forklifts, ride‑on pallet trucks and other material handling equipment (MHE) where required.
• Picking customer orders accurately and preparing them for dispatch.
• Supporting the timely and accurate dispatch of customer orders.
• Completing all necessary warehouse administration to the required standards.
• Carrying out pre‑use checks on MHE and reporting any defects or issues.
• Supporting stock checks and stock taking activities.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and organisation throughout the warehouse.
• Following all health and safety procedures and reporting accidents, incidents and hazards.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the warehouse operates efficiently and customer requirements are met.
