Job summary

St Austell Brewery is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support a busy depot, handling goods in, stock movements and order preparation for dispatch. This hands-on role requires accuracy, a good level of numeracy and strong teamwork to deliver a first-class service.

You'll use MHE where required, follow health and safety procedures and contribute to a tidy, safe warehouse environment. The role offers training and development within a friendly estate setting.

Responsibilities

• Safely carry out stock movements, goods in, put away, SKU movements, replenishments and order building.
• Operate forklifts, ride-on pallet trucks and other MHE as needed.
• Picking customer orders accurately and preparing them for dispatch.
• Supporting the timely and accurate dispatch of customer orders.
• Completing all necessary warehouse administration to the required standards.
• Carrying out pre-use checks on MHE and reporting any defects or issues.
• Supporting stock checks and stock taking activities.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and organisation throughout the warehouse.
• Following all health and safety procedures and reporting accidents, incidents and hazards.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the warehouse operates efficiently and customer requirements are met.
