Warehouse Operative Position in Bredbury, Stockport

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established client based in Bredbury, Stockport.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Shift Details

Day Shift: Monday to Sunday, working 5 days out of 7. Hours are between 0600-1800, 0800-1800, or 1000-1800 depending on the day.

Night Shift: Monday to Sunday, working 5 days out of 7. Hours are between 1800-0600, 1800-0400, or 2000-0600 depending on the day.

Shift Length and Breaks

• 12-hour shift = 4 x 30 min paid breaks
• 10-hour shift = 3 x 30 min paid breaks
• 8-hour shift = 2 x 30 min paid breaks

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Order picking
• Breaking down baskets
• Stock control
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• General housekeeping within the department

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Must have a reasonable level of English
• Previous warehouse or production experience is required
• PPE required: safety boots and hi-vis
• Must be available to work weekends
• At least six months of picking and packing experience
• Must have own transport or live locally to the site
