Job summary

Huhtamaki is recruiting for a warehouse operative role in the United Kingdom. You will work with RF scanning to support production and despatch deadlines, liaise with multiple departments, and assist in maintaining smooth warehouse operations.

The role involves safety audits, continuous improvement activities, and safe operation of material handling equipment. You will be expected to follow health, safety and environmental policies and contribute to clean and efficient warehousing practices on

Responsibilities

• Operate RF scanning system to complete tasks as issued through the warehouse management system, on time to meet production and despatch deadlines.
• Liaise with relevant departments and job functions to facilitate smooth and efficient warehouse operation.
• Liaise with Supervisor and material controller on reporting, corrective actions or preventive measures to overcome issues.
• Maintain administrative procedures for efficient running of the warehouse.
• Perform internal safety audits as required and participate in continuous improvement activities to improve efficiency and safety.
• Operate mechanical handling equipment safely and in line with safety requirements (Powered pallet truck, counterbalance, clamp).
• Comply with Health and Safety, Hygiene, Environmental and housekeeping policies.
