Job Opportunity: Warehouse Operative

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to work for our client based in Gainsborough.

Position Details:

• Location: Gainsborough, DN21
• Contract: Temp to Permanent
• Rate of Pay: £13.00 per hour
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm

Warehouse Operative Duties:

• Working in the Warehouse, replenishing stock and ensuring availability for picking
• Moving pallets and ensuring all pallets, cages, and stillages are secure in compliance with Health & Safety regulations
• Locating products and rotating stock effectively
• Using warehouse-related equipment comfortably
• Unloading inbound shipments safely and moving pallets onto HGV vehicles, trailers, or within the warehouse
• Performing daily pre-use safety inspections of forklift trucks and reporting any issues

Warehouse Operative Criteria:

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Approachable and professional demeanor
• FLT Counterbalance Licence is essential (preferably external and valid, but in-house considered)
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car for site visits are essential
• Health and safety awareness
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Hardworking and reliable
