Job description

Our client based in Clyst Saint Mary, Devon is looking for a warehouse operative with CB FLT experience. A current licence is preferred but not essential.

Monday to Friday hours per week.

Position Summary:

Responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping of products in a warehouse. Some handballing may be required so a good level of fitness is needed.

Must have good literacy and numeracy skills to sort and stack goods.

Responsibilities:

  1. Receive and process incoming warehouse products into inventory in compliance with established procedures and safety standards.
  2. Unload and put away warehouse products in compliance with established procedures and safety standards.
  3. Check in and put away outgoing warehouse products in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
  4. Maintain cleanliness of warehouse areas - sweeping, mopping, painting etc.
  5. Perform related duties assigned or required by supervisor to maintain quality standards.
  6. Work with other departments to ensure that orders are received in good condition and that there is adequate inventory on hand.
