Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the loading and unloading stock
  • Ensuring that all stock is in accordance with delivery/advice notes & loading tickets
  • Operation of fork truck and other equipment in accordance with your appropriate level of training
  • Assist in depot stock control, stock taking and reporting any stock shortages to the Warehouse Manager
  • Maintaining the security of the warehouse and stock at all times
  • General depot/equipment maintenance and cleanliness
Required Skills
  • Previous experience in a Warehouse Operative role (essential)
  • You have the capability and desire to responsibly move heavy items around the warehouse, and on / off lorries
  • Fork truck trained (desirable)
  • Proof of right to work in the UK
  • Experience of working individually, whilst forming part of a larger team
  • Commitment to the contribution of a profitable business operation
  • Willingness to learn and ability to retain information
