Job summary

Fairfax Meadow, part of Sysco GB, is hiring a Warehouse Operative in Derby. You will be responsible for picking and scanning products and ensuring accuracy for customer orders while working a late shift pattern.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and physical fitness, with shifts from 19:00–04:00 and 11:00–20:00, five days out of seven. This is a long-standing foodservice catering business offering ongoing training and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• A naturally organised person with attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and professionalism in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to motivate team members and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferably previous experience in a similar warehouse role.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Picking and scanning of products to fulfil customer orders.
• Ensure the correct products are picked and accurately scanned.
• Maintain tidy and safe warehouse practices during shifts.
• Support colleagues and adapt to changing workload in a busy environment.
