Job summary

Apex Resources Ltd is recruiting a reliable Warehouse Operative/Loader for our client in Daventry. The role involves operating power industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack and count merchandise, while maintaining safety and housekeeping.

You will participate in inventories, label, sort, wrap, pack and repack as needed, repair pallets and assist in keeping the facility clean and safe. Overtime may be required depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months (mild to moderate).

Apex Resources is currently recruiting reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative/Loaders on behalf of our client in Daventry.

The Warehouse Operative/Loaders is responsible for operating power industrial trucks for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance:

• Maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area, and assist in security of the warehouse

OTHER DUTIES (Site Specific)

• Participate in physical inventories; perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed
• Repair pallets, when necessary, trailers, and truck bays as requested.
• Help maintain the facility to provide a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as required
• Work overtime as dictated by business whether mandatory or voluntary

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

• 6 months experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Handling, Sitting, Bending, Walking, Standing long periods of time,
• Reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.
• Ability to Lift/Carry and Push/Pull 21-50 pounds
