Job summary

The Best Connection in Darwen is seeking Temporary Warehouse Operatives to join a busy, well-established site. You will be picking and packing tubs, preparing for dispatch, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse.

Shifts run 6:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00 with weekly pay at £12.71 per hour. We value reliability, accuracy, and teamwork, and offer enhanced overtime for additional hours.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack tubs of paint accurately to order.

• Manual handling required.

We are currently recruiting for Temporary Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and well-established company based in Darwen.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, your main duties will include:

• Picking and packing tubs of paint accurately to order
• Preparing products for dispatch
• Carrying out quality checks
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Supporting general warehouse duties as required
• Picking with a pump truck
• Labelling
• Restacking of Pallets
• The role involves manual handling.

Shifts Available

• 6:00am - 2:00pm
• 2:00pm - 10:00pm

You must be flexible and reliable with excellent timekeeping.

• Have previous warehouse, picking, or packing experience (preferred but not essential)
• Are physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
