Prime Appointments Ltd is recruiting a Warehouse Operative in Colchester, Essex for an ongoing temporary position. You will load and unload vehicles, pick and pack customer orders, and support admin tasks using in-house systems and Excel.

The role requires being on your feet, manual handling, and strong communication to coordinate with colleagues and customers while maintaining safety and accuracy. Day shifts run Monday to Friday, with on-site parking provided.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, logistics or distribution experience.
• Comfortable with manual handling tasks and being on your feet all day.
• Able to follow instructions and work independently.
• Comfortable using computer systems
• Flexible and willing to learn and support different areas of the operation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

Warehouse Operative

Location: Colchester, Essex

Pay: £13.12 per hour

Contract:Temporary

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a leading and established manufacturing company based in Colchester, Essex. This is an ongoing temporary position with potential long-term opportunities.

This role plays an important part in the day-to-day operations of a busy logistics team and requires a hands-on, adaptable approach.

Responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative:

• Loading and unloading vehicles by hand
• Accurately pick, pack and prepare customer orders
• Supporting with admin duties including liasing with customers, using in-house computer systems and entering information into Excel.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily operational targets
• Following all health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean, safe and tidy working environment

The ideal Warehouse Operative:
