Job summary

Wolseley UK Limited, via Plumb Centre in Chelmsford, is seeking an Operations Assistant. The role covers warehouse picking/packing, stock put-away, and support across the branch to meet customer requirements.

This permanent, full-time position is 40 hours weekly (Mon-Fri, 8:00–17:00). Applicants should have warehouse experience, be dependable team players with a can-do attitude, and be physically capable of the job.

• Warehouse experience is essential.

• Physically able to handle a demanding role.

Responsibilities

• Operate in the warehouse to pick and pack goods.
• Put away deliveries into allocated storage areas.
• Assist the team across the branch, including counter duties.
• Perform manual handling and use lifting equipment as required.

As an Operations Assistantbased in Chelmsford you will be responsible for:

• Working within the warehouse picking/packing goods
• Putting away deliveries into allocated areas
• Assisting the team in all areas of the branch including the trade counter and where needed to ensure customer requirements are met
• Manual handling and using lifting equipment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00am - 17:00pm.
