Job summary

IKEA Cardiff invites you to join the Fulfilment Operations team as an Early Morning Warehouse/Store Replenishment Operative. You will help ensure shelves are stocked and products are available on time, in a fast-paced environment.

This is a physical role involving pallet movement and light machinery, with shifts 04:00–10:00 and 18–30 hours per week. Candidates may be required to work weekends; successful applicants may receive night shift and FLT allowances after training.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical pallet movement and heavy lifting.
• Availability for early morning shifts (04:00–10:00) and up to 30 hours per week.
• Background check required for successful candidates.
• Previous warehouse or FLT experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

IKEA Cardiff are looking to welcome Early Morning Warehouse/Store Replenishment Operatives to join our hard-working Fulfilment Operations team. • Performing stock replenishment in our warehouse and shop floor, this is a heavy manual handling role.
• Contribute to the highest goods availability through accurate and on-time replenishment, using systems provided.
• Working with or around heavy machinery, such as forklift trucks and pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
• Shortlisted candidates will be invited by email to attend a face-to-face interview.

This role requires:

• Medical questionnaire
  Previous warehouse/FLT experience is preferred but not essential. All you will need is the motivation to make things happen in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to priorities and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail.
• Proven experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
• This is a physical, hands‑on role, so enjoying a role where you move pallets and products around the store to their sales locations is important.
• Due to Health and Safety Regulations all applicants must be over the age of 18.
  Start Date of employment will be: 27th September 2026
• £13.45 per hour, nightshift allowance of £2.25 between the hours of 10:00pm to 06:00am. FLT allowance £1.50 per hour following successful completion of training.
• 18 hours working 3 days per week, 24 hours working 4 days per week and 30 hours working 4 days per, 3 out of 4 weekends a month.
• This is an early morning role, with shifts between 04:00am and 10:00am in the morning.
