Job summary

Prime Appointments Ltd in Bury St Edmunds is recruiting Warehouse Operatives for a busy, well-established business. This is a temporary ongoing role with immediate starts available and potential to go permanent.

You will handle inbound/outbound duties, pick/pack, move stock, and work with equipment up to 15kg, with training on LLOP/HLOP and forklift options. Expect a reliable team player who can learn quickly and adapt to safety procedures. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Comfortable with manual handling and working on your feet.
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Previous Counterbalance or Reach experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Handling inbound goods and checking deliveries.
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Moving and organising stock around the warehouse.
• Supporting outbound operations.
• Working within Value-Added Services when required.
• Manual handling of boxes up to 15kg.
• Using warehouse equipment safely.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures.

The role involves a mixture of inbound and outbound warehouse duties, with regular manual handling of boxes up to 15kg. There are also opportunities for LLOP, HLOP and forklift training.
